The terms for using Claire on Mac, iPhone, and web.

Using Claire

By using Claire, you agree to these terms. Claire connects to your Google account to help you read, organize, and send email and view your calendar. Your Gmail account remains subject to your agreement with Google.

Your responsibilities

Use Claire only with accounts you are authorized to access. Keep your Google credentials and devices secure, and take responsibility for activity in your account. Do not use Claire for unlawful purposes, to send spam, or to abuse Google's services.

Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle your information. The Google permissions page explains what access Claire requests. We do not sell your data or use your email content to train AI models.

AI features

AI summaries, briefings, and drafts can be inaccurate or incomplete. Check important details against the original message and review drafts before sending.

Availability and changes

Claire is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, change, or discontinue features. Material changes to these terms will be posted here with an updated date.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claire and its makers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Claire depends on third-party services, including Google and Cloudflare, and is not responsible for their availability or actions.

Ending your use

You may stop using Claire and revoke its access at any time. See Data deletion for the steps. We may suspend access that violates these terms or abuses connected services.
